We also have a community in the forums, we have free lesson requests, free Guitar and Bass Tabs, and free Drum Scores. The video lessons are free but in order to have access to them you have to register to the forums. Ok this website is all about guitar and music, and has been brought to life by my band ERA OF BLOOD, so here's how it happened. The bands biography has been moved since Era Of Blood is now a solo project instead of a band. If you want to read the main biography check it out on my projects profile at http://www.artists.ultimate-guitar.com/eraofblood Biography Of Solo Project When Era Of Blood was a band consisting of members Tyler Pierce (me), Jake Brooks, and Garret Wood, it almost seemed like they were never a band to start with. We had about two recording sessions, never practiced, and argued too much. Out of pure anger and stupidity without asking Jake or Garret, I declared Era Of Blood a solo project. Rumors were around that they were going to quit anyway so I thought no harm done. So far the solo project has been pretty successful as of today July 22nd 2009, I am almost finished with my second song, Preach to The Choir. My first song is called II/III and you can listen to it on my projects profile at http://myspace.com/eraofblood or http://www.artists.ultimate-guitar.com/eraofblood . I will let you know now that II/III was my first solo attempt. My next project after Preach to The Choir is to redo II/III. I want to redo this song because of a few reasons, the vocals are very choppy and change pitch too much, and all the instruments are just a hair off-time with eachother. I also may add a new drum line to it. The Way I Write My Music The way I write my music and why is I like to hide things in the lyrics. Things about the end of the world, the end of life, I also like to refer to corrupt poloticts and ancient history/the crusades. I have received complaints about my music being "Satanic" or "To dark and about death" By family and ex band members. I understand where they are coming from but I don't believe the world is an all-great place. Also my music refers to living right, and choosing your own paths but most people just look at the lyrics once and forget it. If they would try to solve the riddle of my songs they would understand.
